Join our CSA and commit to support local farms for a season. We organize CSAs year-round with three “seasons” to join: Winter, Spring, and Summer/Fall. We allow late-signups each season, so anyone can join the CSA at any time, assuming there is space available.
Where does the food come from?
During the Summer, we source mostly vegetables from Whipstone Farm (Paulden, AZ), Crooked Sky Farm (Phoenix, AZ), and Forestdale Farm (Flagstaff, AZ). With such diverse altitudes and growing conditions, we have access to a wide selection of Summer crops.
How much food comes in each share?
There are two options for CSA share size. Full Share members receive 7-9 items every week. Half Share members receive the same 7-9 items, but only every other week. Vegetables and fruits are chosen each week depending on what is ready to harvest.
Wondering what types of things you’ll be getting? Winter season is full of greens, winter squash, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, citrus and other seasonal goodies! Please note, however, that part of being a member of the CSA is recognizing that you share in the risks and rewards of farming. The size and items in a share is dependent on the weather, the success of the farms at any given point . However, most members rave about the quality, consistency and range of items in the share.
