“We are a family farm located in Paulden, Arizona about 25 miles north of Prescott. Established in 1995 as a large garden that produced more food than our family could eat, we have grown every year since then and now have 15 acres in production. We grow over 100 varieties of vegetables, as well as flowers, herbs, and eggs.”

“We are a family in the business of raising, processing, and directly selling hearty, wholesome pasture-raised meats in ways that would be familiar to our grandfathers.  We are, in short, reinventing local, small-scale agriculture in a way that respects land, animals, and people.”

“My father, Francisco ‘Chiigo’ Smith, an O’dham farmer, grew many traditional crops on my mother Margaret’s ten acre allotment located near Sacaton, on the Gila River Indian Reservation in Arizona. My mother was an herbalist and traditional healer. My father grew corn, chiles, tepary beans, various types of squash, gourds, Pima wheat, melons and sugar cane. Together, they taught me the value of our traditional foods to our daily nutrition and way of life.”
